“Earth is an amazing planet” Now you might have heard this many times but there are planets that could be as interesting. Maybe even have life. Here’s my list of top ten
10. HD 100546 b. It so big, might not be a planet, but actually a brown dwarf because of it's size.
9. ROXs 42Bb. Big and hot, but not as big as the first planet assuming it’s a planet.
8. HD 189733 b. Nice, but molten glass rain doesn’t sound good.
7. 55 Cancri e. The most valuable known planet in the universe. Since this planet has 9 times the mass of Earth, this led astronomers to propose that this planet could be composed of high pressurized carbon. This means there could be graphite and diamond. Maybe some iron and other elements.
6. psr b1620-26 b. This planet is 13 billion years old. Compare that to Earth’s age(4.5 billion years)
5. Tres-2b. This planet is darker than coal. It only reflects 1% of all light that hits it.
4. Tres-4b. This planet is as dense as a cork. By the way, corks are less dense than water.
3. Kelt-9b. This planet is hot. Really hot. (7,800 degrees Fahrenheit on the surface!)
2. Gj-504b. This planet is pink because it’s it’s still a newly formed planet.
1. J147b. “Saturn has some big rings.” But, J147b has rings 200 times bigger than Saturn. The real Lord of The Rings. What is your favorite planet?
Note:if you want the size, where I got it, or learn more click on the links.
